Do You Really Need TAMIFLU?

An alternative way is essential oils....Here are my suggestions for best weapons against the flu...no need for expensive, hard to find flu drugs (which only work by slowing down viral growth). Oils work that way, but also work on bacteria and fungi and jump start the body's own immune system. And they are uplifting and refreshing, too!

Oils are easy to use.   Diffusion is a great way to disinfect the air.  An ultra-sonic diffuser is perfect, but expensive. I got mine from Abundant Health. You can put a few drops into a pan of boiling water and inhale the vapors.  You can put drops into a bowl or cup and warm with a candle warmer.  You can put a few drops into a terra cotta pendant and wear around your neck.  ( I have some of these available for $10).  I DO NOT recommend dropping oils on the tongue undiluted or even diluted.   They can be mixed with a carrier oil to about 3%-10% (most people have Olive Oil on hand), then applied sparingly to the feet or back.

LEMON  (Refreshing Cleanser)

Used for respiratory, colds, fevers,  digestive, germicide, acid neutralizing, stimulates immune system, improve cellular metabolism. Flavor water and add 68% limonene, a powerful anti-oxidant.

COPAIBA  ( Warrior of all Dimensions)

Versatile, powerful oil effective against almost anything including viral infections, anti-biotic resistant bacteria, fungus.  All without distressing side effects.

FIR or SPRUCE  (Master Rejuvenators)

Special affinity for the respiratory tract--coughs, congestion, fever, flu.  Have antiseptic qualities along with being a mental stimulant and nerve sedative.

EUCALYPTUS  (Cooling Balancer)

Superb air disinfectant.  Affinity for the respiratory tract.  Cools fevers, diffuses irrational thoughts.  Uplifting and energizing.

PEPPERMINT  (Mister Cool)

Used for mental fatigue, muscular pain, asthma, headache, fever, flu, bruises, digestion problems.  Add to water as a preventative for heatstroke.  Dilute with olive oil before adding to water.  One drop flavors several quarts.

I have an additional arsenal of blends.  Not only can they help nip those nasty germs in the bud, but enhance and encourage the body's own immune system to kick into high gear.  They can be diffused in the air or massaged into the feet.  Dilute with carrier oil before using.  There is no need to take them internally.

Pirates (Defender from Plague)
Formulated to protect the body from flu, colds, viruses, bacteria.  These spices were supposedly used by the thieves in England to protect from the plague while bodies were robbed.  Diffuse or use on feet. Dilute before any application. Add to toothpaste. Dilute by 75%-90%. with olive oil to use on dental floss for that extra Pirate-power. Very potent!! Use caution. This is similar to DoTerra's On Guard, but taken up a few notches with the extra kick of oregano and thyme.
Contains: Clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, rosemary, nutmeg, ginger, thyme, oregano, orange, citronella

10 ML=$14,  10ML (diluted with Coconut or olive oil)=$9

Arrowhead (Top Weapon)
If you can only get one blend, this is the one.  Created from the Top 15 oils, runs the entire spectrum of healing components.  Can aid in balancing emotions, ease overwhelm and banish procrastination.    When in doubt, reach for the Top Weapon.  For Colds, flu, aches and pains.  Powerful anti-septic, anti fungal, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory.  Diffuse in the air for high powered ammunition. Wear on a terra cotta pendant. Or dilute with appropriate carrier oil before using for massage on back or feet, especially the toes.
Contains:  Lavender, Lemon, Black Spruce, Copaiba, Rosewood, Cypress, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Dives, Tea Tree, Roman Chamomile, Oregano, Blue Tansy, Clove
10 ML=$18,  10ML (diluted with Coconut oil)=$11

Shaman  (Enhance Immune system)
In need of a medicine man…in a bottle??  This powerful blend is formulated to enhance the immune system and surround you with protection.  These are potent oils…use with respect and caution.  Dilute to 5% if using on the skin. Can be mixed with herbal powder and put in capsules, but does NOT need to be taken internally to work.
Contains: oregano, cistus, frankincense, hyssop, lemon, ravensara, cumin, clove, blue cypress, tarragon, Mountain Savory (These are all powerful immune stimulants as well as antibacterial, antifungal, anti-viral.)
10 ML=$24,  10ML (diluted with Coconut or olive oil)=$14

I often use other "weapons" in conjunction with oils, such as colloidal silver, pressure point and/or energy therapy, cleansing baths and saunas. For stomach flu, the following blend has been used:

Gingerbread  (Tummy Tamer)

Reminiscent of fresh baked gingerbread.     Anti-bacterial, antiseptic, useful for colds, chills, fatigue, coughs, sore throat. Helps to relieve digestive problems, such as upset stomach. Wear on wrists or massage on throat or tummy. Must be diluted with appropriate carrier oil to about 10% for use on body. These are powerful oils.  Put a drop in drinking water after diluting. Contains:  Lemon, ginger, grapefruit, wild orange, birch, nutmeg, fennel, vanilla, cardamom, peppermint, anise, cinnamon, clove, carrot seed, lemongrass, clary sage, patchouli
10 ml=$13
